VIVAnews - State electricity company PLN will construct power plants which are listed in the second phase of 10,000 megawatt (MW) acceleration program in 78 locations.
"We will deliver the project details, which now are in their final phase, immediately to the government," said PLN President Director Fahmi Mochtar on Tuesday, May 26.
Mochtar said that the projects which are located in several locations have the capacity of 9,706 MW and are divided into 5,85 MW in Java and 4,021 MW outside of Java.
He mentioned that the power plants are, among others, 1,000 MW water power plant in Java and 174 MW outside of Java, 1,200 MW steam power plant in Java and 240 MW outside of Java, 1,458 MW geo-thermal power plant in Java and 1,411 MW outside of Java, and 2,000 MW steam power plant in Java and 2,196 outside of Java.
