VIVA – HBO menerima 12 nominasi Golden Globe, terbanyak tahun ini di antara jaringan televisi mana pun, pada ajang tahunan 75thGolden Globe Awards mendatang, yang diumumkan tadi malam di Los Angeles.
Big Little Lies menerima enam nominasi – yang terbanyak untuk tayangan televisi, Wizard of Lies mendapat dua nominasi, sedangkan The Duece, Game of Thrones, Insecure dan The Young Pope masing-masing menerima satu nominasi.
Dari keterangan tertulis yang diterima VIVA, Selasa 12 Desember 2017, tayangan HBO yang mendapat nominasi adalah sebagai berikut;
Enam nominasi untuk Big Little Lies, kategori Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television, dua untuk Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon).
Kemudian, Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Alexander Skarsgård) dan dua untuk Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley).
Selanjutnya, dua nominasi Wizard of Lies untuk Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Robert De Niro) dan Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Michelle Pfeiffer).
Sedangkan satu nominasi untuk The Deuce pada Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama (Maggie Gyllenhaal). Season terakhir Game of Thrones mendapat satu nominasi untuk Insecure, Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy (Issa Rae). Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Jude Law).
