Indonesia Bumi to Work on Lead Mines

VIVAnews - Mining company PT Bumi Resources Minerals announced its plan to start working on zinc ores and lead in protected forest area register 66 Batu Ardan, Sopokomil Hmalet, Longkotan Village, Silima Punggapungga Subdistrict, Dairi Regency, North Sumatra. 

Bumi Resources Minerals President Director, Kenneth Farrel, said on Monday that his "team is proposing for a concession in Dairi area."

PT Dairi Prima Minerals will run the mines of which 80 percents of shares are controlled by Bumi Resources Minerals.

Farrel believes the mining concession will be approved in no time.

The production is expected to commence by early 2013.
