VIVAnews – PT Visi Media Asia (VIVA), the holding company of ANTV, tvOne and news portal VIVAnews.com will release 14.21 percent of its shares, or as many as 2.286 billion, to the public.

According to VIVA President Commissioner, Anindya Bakrie, the initial public offering (IPO) is not a “cosmetics sale”, but rather an offer of media industry’s prospect.

“Media industry is and will be more promising,” said Anindya today during Due Diligence Meeting & Public Expose of Initial Public Offering event in Jakarta.

Anindya went on that what is offered to the public is the shares of a company that has experience in media industry of over ten years. “In the future we will even develop TV Sport One and TV Game in line with the positive prospect of media,” said Anindya.

Viva Media Asia is one of the integrated media companies in Indonesia which focus on delivering news contents, providing contents especially sports and lifestyle through many platforms including free to air (FTA) television station, internet news portal and mobile phones.

In addition to the IPO, the company also issued 571.5 million warrants to be additional incentives for all VIVA IPO’s investors.
