VIVAnews - The Department of State-owned Enterprises (SOEs) figured that total profits of the overall SOEs in 2009 will reach Rp 70 trillion (US$5.8 billion). The target is lower than the income in 2008 amounted to Rp 75 trillion  (US$6.2 billion).

"Pertamina is still the largest contributor," said Secretary of the Department of SOEs, M. Said Didu, on Thursday, March 12.

Didu said the largest net profits of SOEs are still provided by three companies like Pertamina, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk., and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk.

Yet, Didu was reluctant of explaining about the targeted income and dividends of SOEs in the 2009 fiscal year.

Meanwhile, all SOEs comprising 138 companies have allocated capital expenditure worth Rp 152.05 trillion (US$12.7 billion), higher than last year's realization of Rp 128.32 trillion (US$10.7 billion).

As for the operational expenditure, SOEs allocated Rp 836.32 trillion (US$70.1 billion), lower than the realization in 2008 with Rp 962 trillion (US$80.6 billion). "This year's budget is lower due to the declining price of world oil," said Didu.
