The gathering was held in Wisma Duta, residence of the Indonesian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary for UK Yuri O. Thamrin on Tuesday, March 31 (Wednesday in Jakarta).

The President hoped that the whole process of elections would run smoothly, despite the future winner. "[The election] is an important thing for democracy, we hope that the elections will be Luber [Direct, General, Free, Secret]," added Yudhoyono.
