Hyundai Donates US$2 M to Gorontalo

VIVAnews - Hyundai Motor Company donated Rp 25 billion (US$2.21 million) to the Gorontalo government. The Gorontalo Governor Fadel Muhammad said that the fund will be used to construct a liquid propane gas (LPG) bulk filling station (SPBE) in the area.

The construction is planned to be started in 2009. "The construction design is made together with Hyundai," he said at upstream oil and gas regulator's office (BPH Migas) in Jakarta on Monday, April 13.

He said that the SPBE's capacity which is going to be constructed is 1,000 metric tons. SPBE could cover 20 percent of gas necessity in Gorontalo. The plan is to operate SPBE in 2010. WHile for gas supply, early operation will be covered by East Kalimantan, and later will be taken from Donggi Senoro field.
