VIVA – Generally, a village is synonymous with a beautiful, cool, and calm atmosphere. However, this is different from the following villages. These villages in Indonesia are known to have a haunted atmosphere with mystical stories that surround the village. Besides there are many mystical stories circulating, some of these villages make many people curious.

1. Jungsemi Village, Central Java

Jungsemi Village is located in Kangkung District, Kendal Regency, Central Java Province. One of the famous places in this village is the presence of a basil tomb.

Even though it is known to be very haunted, not a few visitors come out of curiosity or to test their guts. Some visitors who come to the village feel tired before entering the basil tomb area.

2. Darungan Village, East Java

Darungan Village is located in Banyuwangi Regency, East Java. Many said that this village is similar to the name of the Dancer Village in a film. This village has long been known to have many mystical stories.

When visiting the village area, people can find some house in the middle of the forest that has not been inhabited for approximately 10 years. This village looks haunted because of the image of a large snake queen until a man and a woman are having sex.

3. Sragi Village, East Java

Sragi Village is located in the Songgon area, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java. This village has a building that is known as sacred and believed to be the place where Semar lives.

It was said that anyone who has the ability to see the unseen world can see the majesty of the Semar palace which is equipped with decorations made of gold. Not a few visitors who come to this location are disturbed by the appearance of scary ghosts.

4. Cibadak Village, West Java

Cibadak Village is located in the Sukamakmur area, Bogor Regency has experienced a natural disaster such as a landslide in 2014. Now, this village is known to the public with some horror stories due to the natural disaster.
