List of Iconic Monuments Commemorating Indonesian Hero

There are reliefs that describe a brief history of the battles that took place in Ambarawa. There are also a number of statues of heroes who fought at that time, such as the statues of General Sudirman, General Gatot Subroto.

6. Hero Monument

This Heroes Monument was built with the purpose of commemorating the events of the November 10, 1945 battle between the Arek-arek Suroboyo and the Allied troops.

At the bottom of the monument is decorated with carvings of Trisula with images of Chakra, Stamba, and Padma as a symbol of the fire of struggle.

7. Bajra Sandhi Monument

The Bajra Sandhi monument was built with the aim of commemorating the struggle of the Balinese people against colonialism which consists of a 45-meter-high monument. There is also a museum containing 33 dioramas, various photographs, and paintings.

8. Statue of General Sudirman

One of the most special statues of General Sudirman is located in the Ndana Island area, Rote Ndao Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. This statue depicts the figure of General Sudirman standing strongly.
