5 New WhatsApp Features in 2023, Users Need to Know

VIVA – WhatsApp is working on some big changes to the app, including two big changes in images. Details of the update itself have appeared online.

As usual, before the general release, these new features will be tested in beta. As quoted from The Sun site on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, here are five big WhatsApp changes. WABetaInfo said that WhatsApp will be given the ability to detect text in photos, so users can copy and paste the text.

After that, the ability to move WhatsApp chat history between Android phones without using Google Drive. This one feature is currently being developed. Then, this Meta subsidiary will allow users to forward media with captions where which is being tested in the beta application.

Next, there is a block shortcut in the chat list. This tool is said by WhatsApp detectives to be under development. Furthermore, in the camera code, WhatsApp will give more advance when users try to take a video. WABetaInfo says that this tool is currently under development.

Unfortunately, there is no exact timeline for when these features will be available to all users. WhatsApp can even take weeks or even months to roll them out to the general public.

to download WhatsApp, users need to go to Google Play on Android and search for WhatsApp.

Scroll down the page until you see the text "Become a Beta Tester".

Tap the "I'm In" button and then click "Join" to confirm.
