NASA Study an Asteroid that Could Be Make World Richer

NASA describes 16 Psyche as one of the most exciting targets in the main asteroid belt. It is roughly 1/16 the diameter of the Moon or about the distance between it and Birmingham.

Moreover, NASA spacecraft will spend 21 months orbiting Psyche, mapping and studying it using a variety of high-tech tools. The Arizona team hopes to determine if it is indeed the core of a planet.
