How to Understand Dog Body Language

8. Body Wiggling

If a dog wiggles their entire body, it could indicate a feeling of great excitement. They may do this when they see us after a long separation or in response to a pleasant stimulus.

9. Digging

When dogs threaten to scratch the ground or other surfaces with their paws, this may indicate digging or searching behavior. They may be trying to find an odor, looking for a cozy bed, or just bringing out their natural ability to dig.

10. Showing Belly

If a dog lies down with its belly exposed, this is a sign of deep trust and security towards us.

Dogs feel comfortable and relaxed when they show us their belly. It can also be their way of inviting us to give them attention and pamper them.
