"Suzuki has same the goals with the Indonesian government, both aiming for a 41% reduction in emissions by 2030 and also achieving Net Zero Emission," he said in Jakarta on Tuesday.

In addition to producing environmentally friendly vehicles, Suzuki has engaged in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Education initiatives, reaching and educating students in various regions of Indonesia.

These efforts are part of Suzuki's commitment to carbon reduction, extending to all its factories.

The Automotive maker from Japan believed that carbon reduction is crucial for the nation's future and is dedicated to implementing strategies for carbon reduction and transitioning to renewable energy in the production process.

The target for carbon emission reduction is complemented by the final products – vehicles such as cars, motorcycles, and boat engines that are low-emission and environmentally friendly.

"Suzuki Indonesia is confident that carbon reduction is a significant aspect of the nation future, and it makes us to continue working on carbon reduction and renewable energy conversion strategies in the production process, with the hope of achieving a carbon-neutral smart factory in the future," Prasetya concluded.
