Jakarta – The Ministry of Religious Affairs has initiated the transformation of Religious Affairs Offices (KUAs) as interfaith service centers with the aim of expanding access to services for all religious communities.

"These 40 types of services are still considered potential and require further discussion with the Directorate General of Islamic Guidance in addition to Islam to determine the services that can be implemented in KUAs," Zainal Mustamin said as quoted from the Ministry of Religious Affairs site.

Meanwhile, Head of the Sub-directorate of Sakinah Family Development, Agus Suryo Suripto stated that there are several interfaith services that can be directly implemented at the KUA, such as marriage guidance and family consultation for non-Muslims.
