Survey Less Educating, Subianto Says

VIVAnews - Presidential candidate from the Greater Indonesia Movement (Gerindra)Prabowo Subianto evaluated that survey's result announced prior to the Elections day was considered less wise in building democracy. The survey, said Subianto, is conducted by those having considerable sums of fund.

"I think it will less educate the nation," he said on Thursday, April 9.

He was worried that the survey will affect public opinion. "It is apparent. If people have heard a survey that a party wins the Elections by early in the morning, they may cancel coming to polling stations," he said.

According to him, the survey is only an order from certain people.

"It may trigger the emergence if oligarchy. Therefore, those having much money would rule the nation," said Subianto.

The latest survey conducted by Lembaga Survei Indonesia, Gerindra was placed at ninth position with three percent of votes. Meanwhile, in the different period, Lembaga Survei Nasional had Gerindra at fourth position with 15 percent of votes.
