VIVAnews - The Jakarta stock prices at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) hit another record as it recorded a new level today, Oct 25.
The index was at 3,643.49, a rise of 45.74 points (1.27 percent). The total transaction reached Rp 5.12 trillion with a volume of 11.73 million lots.
As many as 140 shares increase, 89 shares decrease, 77 shares are stagnant, while 175 others were idle.
On Friday, the index was closed at 3.597,74.
Analyst from PT BNI Securities, Maxi Liesyaputra, said during the first day of this week's trading, a number of sentiments affect index flux such as the G-20 conference in South Korea.
"In addition, the CPO prices that once again are rising as well as investors' expectation toward the growth of issuers' performance within the first nine months have also affected the index," he told VIVAnews.
