VIVAnews - Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono opened 2011 share trade at the Indonesia Stock Exchange today, Jan 3, 2011. Some minutes after the process, the IDX composite stock price index earned 23.228 points (0.63 percent) to 3,726.740. The index however had touched 3,733.869 earlier.
The closing trade by the end of 2010 was carried out by Deputy Finance Minister Anny Ratnawati. The benchmark index along 2010 recorded best performance in the Asia-Pacific. The index by the end of the year was closed at 3,703.51 points compared to 2009 at 2,534.36.
According to IDX, the best gain after the Jakarta composite stock price index was recorded by the Bangkok SET by 40.85 percent; Philippine SE, 37.56 percent; and Korea Composite, 21.44 percent.
