Indonesia, NZ Tie in on Terrorist Handling

VIVAnews - The Indonesian Police are making ties with the New Zealand national police in pursuit of trans-national crime handling.

"Chief of Indonesian Police and Chief of New Zealand police have signed an MoU on international relations which focuses on the alleviation of terrorist attacks," said Head of Public Relations Division of Indonesian Police, Ins. Gen. Anton Bahrul Alam today, January 7.

Anton said the deal mentions about the distribution of infrastructures and devices to the archipelago.

In addition to a collaboration on terrorist handling, the national police of the two countries will also share information on intelligence, trans-national crimes and education.

The agreement will be in effect for four years.
