VIVAnews - Despite the rise in the Indonesia Crude Price (ICP) at US$91.37 per barrel in December 2010, the average ICP between February 2010 and January 2011 was at US$80.81 per barrel.
"The monitoring and evaluation over the fluctuating crude oil prices and fuel in the world market within the last one year show that [the assumed prices] are still in line with the 2011 State Budget (US$80 per barrel)," said Head of Justice and Public Relations at the Ministry of Energy, Sutisna Prawira, on Thursdasy, Jan 13.
According to Sutisna, the Indonesian government came to the agreement that retail prices of kerosene, premium and diesel fuel for homes, small enterprises, fisheries industry, transportation, and public services will remain.
Based on data of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the ICP in January 2010 was US$77.33 per barrel, February US$74.05 per barrel, March US$78.71 per barrel, April US$85.54 per barrel, May US$77.02 per barrel and June US$75.97 per barrel, July US$73.75 per barrel, August US$75.97 per barrel, September US$76.76 per barrel, October US$85.07 per barrel, November US$85.07 per barrel, and December US$91.37 per barrel.
