VIVAnews - The Central Statistics Agency set down the economic growth at 6.1 percent in 2010, exceeding the targeted assumption of State Budget at 5.8 percent. As for Q4 of 2010, the Indonesian economy improved 6.9 percent.
"During 2010, all economic sectors grew," said Head of the Central Statistics Agency Rusman Heriawan today, Feb 7.
He said the GDP value based of constant prices in 2010 reached Rp2,310.7 trillion compared to 2009 at2,177.7 trillion and 2008 at Rp2,082.5 trillion.
The highest growth was recorded by transportation and communication sectors at 13.5 percent.
According to him, the GDP growth excluding oil and gas in 2010 hit 6.6 percent, higher than the overall growth of 6.1 percent.
The economic growth slowed down in Q4 of 2010 by 1.4 percent compared to the previous quarter.
The negative record was caused by a fall in agricultural sector at 20.3 percent due to seasonal cycles.
