VIVAnews - The Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reforms are probing into alleged manipulated enlistment of civil servants in 40 cities.
According to the ministry's spokesperson Ramli Naibaho, the report was filed by NGOs, the public and the media.
The manipulations are varied ranging from made-up test results, bribery, and absence during the scheduled assessment. The examination committee was also claimed as not submitting the exam results to State Administration Board.
The Indonesian government keeps on improving the civil servant enlistment system to anticipate further manipulations.
Ramli said the cities are located in North Sumatra, Jambi, West Sumatra, Riau, Bangka Belitung, Lampung, Central Kalimantan, Banten, West Java, West Nusa Tenggara, North Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Maluku, North Maluku, East Java, West Sulawesi and Central Java.
