VIVAnews - The Ministry of Finance will take legal action against debtors who have yet to repay receivables.

The Indonesian government expects by 2014, more receivables will have been settled. The total receivables reach Rp 62 trillion.

"There will be phases in the debt settlement, starting from restructuring until legal action," said Finance Minister Agus Martowardojo today, March 18.

According to Agus, the receivables include arrears of the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency and assets owned by State-owned Enterprises.

The settlement has been delayed all the time because such state collectors as Ministries, Agencies or State-owned Enterprises did not work properly.

Given the situation, the Ministry of Finance plans to take over the collecting duty.
