VIVAnews - Indorama Venture Plc plans to invest in various sectors in Indonesia, mainly on polyester industry.
"We're doing a research on the matter. We'd like to invest by up to US$5 billion," said Indorama Group Chairman, Sri Prakash Lohia today.
Prakash said the proposal for the investment is underway. Moreover, the investment will be ranging from between three and four years. Minister for the Economy, Hatta Rajasa, said
"They have been here for years. Now, they're trying to focus more on coal investment, mainly on coal gasification," he said.
Indorama will invest US$2 billion of investment on oil and gas as well. "A total of US$5.2 billion is recorded, including coal gasification," he said.
