VIVAnews - Another court session on terrorism case to try cleric Abu Bakar Bashir was held today at the South Jakarta District Court.
Public Attorneys brought an expert witness on ballistics before the court named Maruli Simanjuntak to make testimonies. Maruli said the antiterror special force Detachment 88 handed over various evidence from the scene at a military training camp in Jalin Jantho, Aceh Besar, to the ballistic testing team.
In addition, Maruli said a number of weapons that the authorities confiscated were mostly of standard military equipments such as semi-automatic guns AR15, AK-47, and 38 Colt-Browning.
"No civilians are authorized to use those kinds of weapons," said Maruli. Moreover, Maruli said most of the weapons still work well.
