VIVAnews - US-based financial services firm J.P. Morgan plans team up with the Indonesian government in preparing the Indonesian Economic Expansion and Acceleration Master Plan (MP3EI).
"I look forward to set up a solid partnership [with the Indonesian government] in implementing the program," said JP Morgan Chase & Co., Jamie Dimon, after meeting with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, on Tuesday.
Dimon said J.P. Morgan has been in good ties with the Indonesian government on building up the national economy.
Jamie said Indonesia is among the prospective emerging countries as regards investment on energy, infrastructures and oil.
Chief of the Capital Investment Coordinating Agency, Gita Wiryawan, said the meeting between the Indonesian President and J.P. Morgan was aimed at finalizing the implementation of the MP3EI program.
The MP3EI has been allocated budget from SOEs worth US$100 billion until 2014.
The MP3EI is the acceleration program for economic growth which may require more than Rp4,000 trillion of budget.
