VIVAnews - Indonesia records rapid growth as regards remittances. The World Bank in 2010 noted that the nation garnered around US$7 billion from it's migrant workers, while Bank Indonesia stated that the amount reached US$6.7 billion.
According to MoneyGram Senior Director of Asia Pacific Region, Indonesia has become Asia's most progressive country with regard to remittance inflow.
MoneyGram reported that global remittance values reach US$400 billion at a 4-5 percent of market share.
