VIVAnews - Military Police Detachment of Pekanbaru, Riau, arrested 10 personnel of Indonesian Military, who were allegedly involved in attacks over Kampar Police Station, Riau. During the break-in, they were suspected of letting go a truck driver who earlier transported illegal logs from Kampar Police jail.
"We're collecting evidence. They're being questioned," Commander of Military Police Detachment of Pekanbaru, Lieut. Col. Sain Mustain told VIVAnews, on Friday.
Earlier, dozens of men claimed as Indonesian Military officers popped in at Kampar Police Station and took out a detained truck driver of prison.
They set fire on chairs and tables on the scene.
Deputy Chief of Kampar Police, Comm. Alpen, said the driver was apprehended for not having relevant documents over the logs being distributed.
