VIVAnews – Army Chief of Staff Gen. George Toisutta and Air Force Chief of Staff Air Marshal Imam Sufaat are now officially chief commissioners at two defense State-owned enterprises (SOEs), namely PT Pindad and PT Dirgantara Indonesia respectively.
The appointment was done after SOE minister inaugurated the two military officials along with some commissioners of three SOEs in Jakarta, Monday, June 13, 2011.
In the press statement Vivanews.com received, it is stated that SOE Ministry inaugurated five boards of commissioners of five SOEs altogether. The SOEs are PT PAL Indonesia, PT Pindad, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Indonesian Railway Company) and PT Dahana.
Air Force Chief of Staff Air Marshal Imam Safaat replaced former Air Force Chief of Staff Air Marshal Subandrio.
In addition to the two new chief commissioners, on the same occasion SOE Ministry also dismissed Bambang Hendarso Danuri, who was former Indonesian Police (Polri) chief, from his position as PT Kereta Api Indonesia commissioner. His position is taken over by Iman Haryatna.
The following is the board of commissioners who were appointed by SOE Ministry.
1. PT PAL Indonesia
Chief Commissioner: Soeparno replaced TNI Admiral Tedjo Edhy Purdijatno
Deputy Chief Comm.: Sunardjo replaced Thomas Daryanto
Board of Commissioners member: Ateng Alibasyah, Sambas Mulyana and Silmy Karim
2. PT Pindad
Chief Commissioner: TNI Gen. George Toisutta replaced TNI Gen. Agustadi Sasongko Purnomo
Board of Commissioners member: Brig. Gen. TNI Maman Soemantri replaced Maj. Gen (retired) Sardan Marbun
3. PT Dirgantara Indonesia
Chief Commissioner: TNI Air Marshal Iman Sufaat replaced TNI Air Marshal Subandrio
4. PT Kereta Api Indonesia
Chief commissioner: Iman Haryatna replaced Bambang Hendarso Danuri
5. PT Dahana
Chief commissioner: Edd Sumarno Siradj replaced Lilik Hendrajaya
