VIVAnews - The Indonesian Police Watch announced 20 cases of corruption that have yet to be investigated by the Police. Chief of Crime and Investigation Division at the Indonesian Police HQ, Comm. Gen. Sutarman, said he promises to review the cases.

Sutarman said if the police already have enough witnesses and evidence, the cases will be submitted to the court.

"It is the investigators' job to look into the cases. However, most investigators can only deal with 60 percent of the cases," he said.

Out of the 20 corruption cases include the Jamsostek (social security for workers) issue. Earlier, the police have named former Managing Director of PT Jamsostek, Akmal Husein, and former Jamsostek Director of Finance, Horas Simatupang, as suspects. However, no reports as to how the case is developed are made.

There is also the case on Karaha Bodas Company. Police have named 20 suspects from the case.
