VIVAnews – Police suspected that Ina Asriyana binti Warta kidnapped her employer’s five month-old child named Cheryl for begging on the street. This is because, reportedly, before working at Cheryl’s house, Ina lived on the streets.
According to Cakung Police public relations chief First Police Inspector Sutrisno, the conclusion was derived from the data taken from the domestic worker agency who handled Ina.
"When she came to the agency, she had no identity at all. She was escorted to the domestic worker agency by a motor-taxi driver. The driver felt sorry for Ina who was abandoned on the streets," said Sutrisno on Thursday, August 4.
Sutrisno said that the agency which assigned Ina was located in Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta. The investigation shows that Ina was a resident of Cipendeu Village, Subang regency, West Java. From the information of Ina's parents, it was known that she had separated from her husband.
Cheryl Audrey Jacqueline, a five-month-old baby was kidnapped by Ina Asriyana binti Warta, a domestic worker who had worked for two weeks. The kidnapping took place on Monday, August 1, 2011 when both Cheryl’s parents were not in the house.
