Sports and Hobbies

VIVAnews - When we talk about sports and hobbies, there are three verbs that we use very often. These are ‘go’, ‘do’, and ‘play’. The problem that most students have is remembering which verb goes with which type of activities. There are some basic rules, but like with a lot of rules in English, there are exceptions. (The exceptions will be in the notes below.)

The verbs GO, DO, and PLAY act as regular verbs, so the grammar rules for tenses apply (can be past, present, or future).
