VIVAnews - Former General Treasurer of the Democratic Party Muhammad Nazaruddin was not only involved in the bribery case of SEA Games athletes’ village construction in Palembang.
The other seven cases linked to some ministries have been in line and in the stage of the investigation at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). KPK spokesman Johan Budi named the seven cases that involved Nazaruddin.
First, the case of doctor specialists teaching and learning aid procurement at educational and referral hospitals.
"The second case, the agency for public elementary school development and empowerment at Health Ministry in 2009 valued at Rp490 billion," Johan said on Thursday.
The third case, according to Johan, was the procurement of tools needed for bird flu vaccine technology and research production facilities at the Directorate General of Disease Control and Environmental Health between 2008 and 2010 in the Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, several other cases are strongly tied to Nazaruddin including the procurement of laboratory equipment at the Jakarta State University (UNJ) in 2010. In addition, the purchase of laboratory equipment and furniture at Sriwijaya University Palembang in 2010.
The sixth case, the gain of laboratory equipment for the science research and development center of Soedirman University, Purwokerto, Central Java in 2010 .
“While the seventh is the procurement for Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Serang, Banten in 2010," said Johan.
