VIVAnews - An Indonesian national working in Saudi Arabia has been reportedly dead of violent act.
The body of Duduh Bachtiar bin Nahrowi, 39, an inhabitant of Kampung Selajambe, Sukabumi Subdistrict, West Java, was found in Dammam Coast, Saudi Arabia, with traces of noose seen around his neck.
Wife to the late Duduh, Lia Rosalina, 31, who at the time works in the same area as his husband, received the news as she made a contact on Sunday, August 21. Local authorities then told her that the deceased was discovered on Saturday, August 20.
Duduh's brother, Yadi Yunus, 32, said, "My sister in-law says Wounds can be found in almost every inch of his body. His employer said my late brother ran away from his workplace. I suspect that he was murdered."
Three days after the news came in, Duduh's family sought for information at the offices of the National Agency for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (BNP2TKI), Manpower and Transmigration Agency of Sukabumi, and Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration.
"A report of the untimely death has been filed. They said they would put us on hold. But until today, no news has been delivered to us. The latest news was that my brother's body was still kept by a hospital in Dammam," said Yadi.
Duduh went to Saudi Arabia along with his wife earlier this year through a worker placement agency PT Bantal Perkasa Sejahtera, Jakarta.
Several days prior to the fasting month of Ramadan, the late Duduh contacted his family saying that an employer had hired him as a chauffeur for seven months. Moreover, his wife worked for a different employer in city.
