VIVAnews – Former Supreme Advisory Council (DPA) member Adnan Buyung Nasution delivered his opinion on the issue of Cabinet reshuffle. He said half of the Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's Cabinet need to be replaced.

It is believed that the issue surfaces due to poor Cabinet performance, resulting in the loss of confidence over the Yudhoyono administration.

Buyung said the concern over the reshuffling plan was only on the surface and it gives the general public false hope.

According to Adnan, ministers should be of professional circles, rather than political. “He or she must be decisive,” he said.

Earlier, the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) chaired by Denny JA reported that the public satisfaction toward the Yudhoyono Cabinet has died down. In its latest survey conducted between September 5 and 10, 2011, LSI found only 37.7 percent of the general public were satisfied with the government’s second cabinet. In order to raise popularity, LSI concluded that cabinet reshuffle is a necessity.
