VIVAnews - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)'s Ethics Committee will announce results on the investigation into alleged violations against code of ethics involving KPK leaders on October 6, 2011.
"I really hope nothing will get in the way. We'll make public the results by the 6th of October," said member of KPK's Ethics Committee, Said Zainal Abidin, today.
This week, the committee will not summon anyone to be questioned. It is only that a witness will be asked for confirmation: Deputy KPK Head on Prevention Division, Haryono Umar.
The KPK adviser added that prior to the announcement of the questioning results, the Ethics Committe will submit its findings to KPK leaders by October 3, 2011.
Earlier, Afrian Bondjol, lawyer of Muhammad Nazaruddin, demanded KPK to re-summon his client to clarify several issues.
