VIVAnews – The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has declared four suspects in the graft procurement electronic identity card (e-KTP) project. However, so far AGO still has yet to be able to determine as to how much the crime has caused losses to the state.

Related to the sluggish investigation of the case, Chairman of the AGO Commission, Halius Hosein claimed to have in hand the clarification from AGO. It is clarified, according to him, the AGO was constrained by the audit report of the Development and Finance Surveillance Agency (BPKP).

"I've asked AGO, they said they had no reports of BPKP," Halius said when contacted VIVAnews, Thursday.

According to Halius, the state losses are a definite condition for the alleged corruption of e-KTP program to be followed up. "Now how to move on if there is no report from BPKP? So AGO is also waiting for the report," he said.

As is known, AGO has declared Home Ministry Acting Director-General of Civil Administration, Irman, a suspect. He allegedly inflated the value of the project while serving as Director of Population Data Collection, along with procurement committee chairman Setiantono.

In addition, AGO also named the executives of e-KTP procurement partner companies a suspect. They are PT Wira Karsa Utama’s Suhardijo and PT Indjaja Raya’s Indra Wijaya.
