VIVAnews - Members of House Commission X of the Democrat Faction, Angelina Sondakh, denied the practice of collusion in the SEA Games athletes’ dormitory project in Palembang.
Angie's rebuttal was conveyed during the questioning over her at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) office. Today, Angie was re-examined as regards the bribery case of the SEA Games athletes’ dormitory project involving Nazaruddin, former House member and former General Treasurer of the Democratic Party.
Angie who was questioned for about two hours by KPK investigator team, gave the clarifications related to Nazaruddin’s accusation when he was examined by the KPK. "I only clarified it, because there is some additional information the KPK required," said Angie at KPK Building, Jakarta, Friday.
When asked about the alleged practice of collusion in the SEA Games athletes’ dormitory project in the House, Angie immediately denied it. "There's no such thing," said Angie.
The former Miss Indonesia was reluctant to explain further about the matter related to her being examined. "I have told the KPK. So ask them," Angie said while going out of the KPK building at around 11.50 p.m WIB (Indonesian Western Time).
KPK spokesman Johan Budi said the summon over Angie today was still associated with the case of alleged bribery in SEA Games athletes’s dormitory project in Palembang, with a former suspect of Muhammad Nazaruddin.
Earlier Angie has repeatedly denied any involvement in this case. The Democrat Party deputy general secretary insisted, she was ready to provide any information to the KPK.
