Four Judges of Corruption Acquittals Inquired

VIVAnews - The Judicial Commission and the Supreme Court deployed a team to Lampung to question four judges of Lampung District Court for three days on Nov 14-16.

The four judges were investigated on the acquittals of two defendants of corruption cases namely suspended East Lampung Regent, Satono, and former Central Lampung Regent, Andy Achmad Sampurna.

The four questioned judges included Andreas Suharto, Ida Ratnawati, Itong Isnaeni Hidayat, and Ronald Salnofry.

Judicial Commission Deputy Chief, Iman Anshori Saleh, said the Judicial Commission sent three advisors for the questioning. "The commissioners did not go with the team," said Iman.

Imam said the Judicial Commission will release the questioning result in no time.
