VIVAnews - State telecommunication firm PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) plans to set up incubation facilities aiming at promoting apps developers.
"Telkom will provide the facilities. If possible, [Telkom] will offer funding as well," said Telkom President Director, Rinaldi Firmansyah.
Rinaldi said the company has opted Bandung as the new ecosystem for the future apps developers. Telkom allocates Rp50 billion (US$5.5 million) for 3-4 years of program.

"60 sites will be made available in the facilities," he said.
Telkom expects apps developers can proceed with projects on content apps for mobile devices and personal computers.
