VIVAnews - Former director of state electricity company PLN, Eddie Suwondo, was indicted on a corruption charge with a possible sentence of seven years in prison.
In addition to being threatened to imprisonment, Eddie was also fined Rp500 million and a subsidiary imprisonment of six months.
Eddie and Margo Santoso, Fahmi Mochtar, and managing director of PT Netway, Gani Abdul Gani, were proven of being involved in corruption. Eddie as a PLN director ordered a direct appointment of PLN general manager of Jakarta and Tangerang area, Fahmi Mochtar, to opt in PT Netway in CIS RISI outsourcing project in 2004-2006.
Eddie was against the charges. He said the indictment was full of manipulation.
The next session of Eddie's case will be proceeeded next week.
