VIVAnews - The Aceh Police Department are still probing into the current shooting incident which took place in the area.
Chief of Aceh Police Public Relations Division, Adj. Chief. Comm. Gustav Leo, a similar mode was found in earlier shootings.
Up until today, police still consider that the shootings were of ordinary crime. A speculation surfaced that the shootings were part of political moves prior to Aceh gubernatorial elections.
"The situation nearing the elections is normal," he said.
Police are now tracing the suspects of the case, including those allegedly involving in the shooting on December 23, 2011, over several employees of PT Zaratex, an oil surveying company.
"We have arrested two suspects, while the other ran away," he said.
Chief of Public Relations Division of the Indonesian Police, Ins. Gen. Saud Usman Nasution, said the case is quite difficult.
"Almost no one had witnessed the shooting. We don't have enough evidence as well," he said.
