"I am here at the invitation of ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology) and CIDES. I've no plans at all to garner support," said Anwar today, Jan 30.

Anwar believes the Malaysian people will be in support of him taking into account a free verdict of sexual abuse charges on 9 January 2012. Anwar and his supporters said the case was a result of a conspiracy set up by UMNO regime.

Given various serious allegations, the UMNO regime and the Barisan Nasional coalition have attempted to grind down the opposing party that Anwar helms.

"I'm convinced that should the coming electoral process be held freely and fairly, we can win the elections," he said.
