VIVAnews – The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) said the best possible efforts have been provided during the forensic auditing over the flow of funds to Bank Century.
Chairman of BPK, Hadi Purnomo, claimed BPK was unable to meet several issues that the House of Representatives (DPR) requested.
“We will assist the House in line with the regulations,” said Hadi today, Feb 1.
Late last year, BPK submitted the final reports of forensic auditing over Bank Century to the House of Representatives (DPR) and three law enforcement agencies, namely: Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Police and Attorney General's Office (AGO). The forensic auditing shows 13 findings and additional information regarding the flow of funds to Bank Century.
The findings mentioned that the credit liquidation fund for 11 debtors was not used according to the credit purpose. BPK discovered this after conducting an evaluation of 11 affiliated debtors who received Century credit worth Rp808.52 billion.
However, the audit result has yet to satisfy the House. Thus earlier in January 2012, the House’ Century Supervisory Team handed over additional documents to KPK officials. The documents contained the minutes of discussion between Sri Mulyani and Boediono prior to the issuance of Short Term Loan Facility (FPJP), and the opinions of legal experts regarding the case.
