VIVA – The National Police Chief, Listyo Sigit Prabowo asked ministries, national and private companies to give their employees the right to day off on the D-8 of Eid al-Fitr 1443 Hirjiah.
"We certainly try to coordinate with all of our friends, especially related ministries and also the national private sector. We hope to be able to take vacations or furloughs faster," said Listyo Sigit during the 1 million vaccination at the PBNU office, Central Jakarta, On Thursday, April 21th, 2022.
The reason for that, is to prevent traffic jams on the streets due to the increasing number of travelers who want to return to their respective hometown.

"Because of the day off on D-3, there will definitely be extraordinary traffic jams. Therefore, we hope that the day off can be arranged and given, maybe starting on D-8. So of course, those who are going on leave will also be happy that D-7 has been carried out ," he said.
Then, for the return flow, he asked the company to organize the scheduled employees to come to the office, so that they could take a longer day off.
"And the return flow may be temporarily arranged while waiting for work to be online, right. So, the leave will be longer," he said.

He also recommends that travelers from Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, Bogor, could take a longer holiday. So, the toll road is not too crowded.
“We also hope that the choice of this route will be an option. Because, many people prefer to choose a toll road. So, the burden of toll roads will be heavy. There is an alternative to the southern route, which of course has just been completed, it can be used as an option," he said.
