VIVA – The homecoming post from City Resort Police or locally known as Polresta, Malang City, there is a car with dark grey color, that was hit by accident. This car shows in front of the place of service for homecoming.
This homecoming post is located on Trunojoyo Street, or across from Malang New City Station and in front of Trunojoyo park.
The car accident was on purpose displayed as a reminder that all travelers must be careful when traveling to their hometown. The car that was used in the train accident was also a selfie spot for people who were stopping by to rest in the middle of their homecoming trip.
"Yesterday, the incident in Malang City, a minibus was hit by a train, it is what we pay attention to. Indeed, the euphoria of homecoming is very crowded this year, but we must prioritize health, and safety. We also pray for travelers on the road," Commissioner of Kasatlantas Polresta Malang City Commissioner, Yoppy Anggi Khrisna said on Sunday, April 1, 2022.
Not only that, there are also cafes around this homecoming service post. This place is equipped with various photo spots and cafes because Yoppy wants to change the stigma of place for homecoming as a humanist service post.
They want to create a safe post that looks humanistic and comfortable for travelers arriving in Malang City or stopping in Malang City before continuing their journey to their hometown.

The facilities offered include a cafe, in this place travelers can relax for a moment and enjoy the cool air of Malang City. At night, there is also a musical performance from a local band provided by the Malang City Police.
“There is a cafe, in collaboration with other colleagues namely, Boy Cafe. Here as a hangout place, so that this place for homecoming doesn’t look scary but is more humanist," said Yoppy.
Then, another unique facility is a children's play area or playground. This play area looks like a children's playground in a mall. Because the toys offered are quite diverse.
"We also provide a playground for children who are tired after getting off the train at New City Malang Station. Please go to this place, it already has a playground to play away from tired children," said Yoppy.
Starting from bathing balls, slides or slides, toy cars, piggybacks to mini camps. Of course, this area is the most favorite for children who join homecoming with their parents.
This place also has spot selfie photos that look Instagram-able with old time concepts. It has a background image of New City Malang station in ancient times and former National Police Chief General Hoegeng Iman Santoso riding an onthel bicycle.
Meanwhile, one of the volunteers at the homecoming service place is a member of the Malang City Scout DKC, Alya Permata Negara. He said there were at least 10 scout members who volunteered at this post.
They have various tasks, some are in charge of maintaining the playground, some are in charge of providing health services and carrying out national reports with scouts throughout Indonesia.
"We have several tasks, some are maintaining the playground, participating in the health department, some are looking for photos, reporting and making articles. We are on duty starting Friday, April 29 until May 9, 2022," said Alya.
