VIVA – The one-way traffic engineering system on the toll road from Semarang to Jakarta during the return flow of Eid al-Fitr 2022 has ended. A report of Traffic on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road looks normal.
The traffic directorate of Jaya Metro Police and Police Chief Commissioner, Sambodo Purnomo Yogo explained from Kilometers 28 of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road as of Monday, May 9, 2022 at 3 AM, it was normal.
“Currently, it is reporting that all traffic engineering, both one-way and contraflow, has been terminated. The traffic was running normally from Jakarta to Cikampek and Cikampek to Jakarta,” said Sambodo in a video caption, Monday, May 9, 2022.
Meanwhile, the traffic flow on toll roads from Jakarta to Cikampek or vice versa has returned to normal.
The end of one-way traffic engineering is carried out in line with the end of the peak of backflow on Lebaran 2022. Most of the travelers of homecoming have returned from their respective hometowns.

Sambodo expressed his gratitude to all parties or team involved in the homecoming and return flows.
"We say thank you for the support and cooperation from all parties and also from the travelers. So, the safety for the homecoming and return flows can run smoothly and well," said Sambodo.
Also, from the observation of the TV One reporter, Agung Prasetyo reported the condition of the flow of vehicles heading Jakarta at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT). He said that conditions at Km 70, from the direction of Palimanan to Jakarta were still smoothly monitored.
"The vehicles to Jakarta are dominated by private vehicles or cars. However, there are already vehicles heading towards Jakarta," Agung said in TVOne's Indonesian Morning News, Monday, May 9, 2022.
He said the queue of vehicles at Cikampek Utama Toll Gates was still going on for about 200 meters. Anticipating long queues, more transaction booths are opened.
And then, traffic engineering such as one-way and contraflow hasn’t been implemented since Monday morning at 2 AM. However, it’s predicted that there will still be a return flow to Jakarta from Monday to Tuesday in the afternoon.
