Visiting US, This is President Jokowi's Agenda
VIVA – President Joko Widodo is scheduled to fly to the United States on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. There is Jokowi's agenda during a working visit on May 11-13, 2022. The President is scheduled to arrive in Indonesia on Sunday morning, May 15, 2022.
In the United States, Jokowi will attend the ASEAN-US Special Summit (AUSS) meetings which will be held in Washington DC on May 12 and 13, 2022.
"This morning, the delegation and I will depart for a working visit to Washington DC from May 11 to 13, 2022," Jokowi said in his statement at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, before taking off.
Jokowi and other ASEAN leaders will participate in a series of two-days ASEAN-US Special Summit (AUSS) meetings.
President Joko Widodo said that Indonesia is the coordinator of the ASEAN-US partnership for the period 2021-2024. Indonesia hopes that this Special Summit will result in cooperation that can contribute to peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
Jokowi also emphasized that with the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific, ASEAN is ready to synergize with all ASEAN partner countries, including the United States, in developing concrete cooperation that is inclusive and mutually beneficial.

"We have a responsibility to make the Indo-Pacific a peaceful, stable and prosperous region," he said.
The following is the agenda of the meeting that will be attended by Jokowi, such as:
1. Meeting with members of Congress;
2. Meeting with American's great CEOs;
3. Meeting with Vice President Harris and the American Climate Change Team; and
4. Summit of ASEAN Leaders and President Biden. Jokowi and his entourage are scheduled to return to Jakarta after the series of meetings are over on the evening of May 13.
The coordinating minister for Matitime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of State Secretary Praktikno, Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi, and Minister of Investment or Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia also accompany Jokowi on the flight to the US.
