This boot-shaped house is inspired by the story of "The Cowboy Boot House". The Cowboy shoe-shaped house, also nicknamed The Huntsville house, was designed by artist Dan Phillips, who has been designing eco-friendly homes in his hometown since 1997.

This very minimalist house is located in Japan. Horinouchi was designed by Japanese architect Mizuishi City. This house is only 27.9-sqm wide and is located beside the road and river.
There is one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen and a public room that can be used as a living room or family room. Uniquely, the architect designed the house by placing the bedroom on the top floor with the kitchen and public space on the ground floor.
Mizuishi City explained why he built this small house because of the high price of land and property prices in Japan.
