Mary Celeste is a merchant ship that was found sailing aimlessly in the Atlantic Ocean in 1872. When it was found, it was still in perfect condition even though it had become one of the ghost ships. The cargo hold is full but there are no lifeboats.

The entire crew is also missing. No sign of struggle could be found. All personal belongings of the crew and passengers were left untouched.

The Lady Lovibond is one of the most famous ships in England, this ship sailed in 1748 but unfortunately sank. Everyone on the ship was killed.

It is said that the captain of the ship was celebrating his wedding on this ship when his wife's first partner was pacing the ship and he crushed the skull of the sailor at the helm and then steered the ship into Goodwin Sands – Quicksand which destroyed the entire ship and killed everyone on board.

Until this day, the ship is still seen sailing near Kent.

4. The Octavius

It is believed that the Octavius ??Ship is a legend rather than a true story. However, it is one of the most famous ghost ships ever. Octavius ??was a whaling ship that crashed in 1775.

The ship was abandoned while the crew and all passengers froze. In fact, the captain of the ship froze as he sat down at his desk. The ship drifted for 13 years until it was found by another ship.

5. The Joyita

Long ago, The Joyita was a charter and fishing boat found in 1955 that was also completely abandoned. The crew, as well as 25 passengers, were all missing. Found more than 600 miles from where it was supposed to be. There was no one on the ship.

6. The Carroll A. Deering

The ship Carroll A. Deering sank around 1921 in North Carolina. The collision was heard by the Coastguards who immediately dispatched assistance.

When they found the ship, there was no one on board. The ship was nearly destroyed, and there were no lifeboats either. No one ever heard of the ship's passengers again.

7. The Caleuche

The Caleuche was one of the most famous ghost ships originating from the southern part of Chile. It was said that this ship appears every night near the island of Chiloe. This island is located off the coast of Chile.

It was also said that the ship only appeared in the waters carrying the spirits of all those who met their end on that fateful night overseas on the same ship.

8. SS Valencia

The SS Valencia was built to serve the purpose of ships between Venezuela and New York City. It also served the purpose of a troop ship periodically during the Spanish-American war. The ship sank near the coast of Vancouver in British Columbia in 1906 and became one of the top haunted ships.

This ship sank from its course after being subjected to terrible wear and tear by Cape Mendocino. The sinking left only 37 survivors. A local fisherman spotted a nearby rescue raft. Another raft was discovered recently while hovering near Barkley Sound.

9. The Ourang Medan

In Indonesian waters, the ship had an unfortunate accident, and its entire crew mysteriously lost their lives.

In the past, two US ships received a distress call near the coast of Malaysia. The call came from the ghost ship. The crew is believed to be dead. The ship's final communication consisted of only two words: 'I'm dead.'

10. The Baychimo

Baychimo is a cargo ship as well as one of the top ghost ships. In Sweden, built in 1914 and owned by the Hudson Bay company.

This ship was used for the fur trade along the coast of Victoria Island. The ship was abandoned by Alaska for about forty years. It is known that this ship drifted here and there until it was discovered by another ship aimlessly floating near the ice sheet. It went up, but disappeared again.
