MUF Gives Rp120 million to Penglipuran Bali Tourism Village

VIVA – The tourism sector is still the main support for Bali's economic growth, slowly starting to move in a positive direction in 2022. The existence of a policy of easing community mobility, facilitating direct flights from abroad, and easy policies for tourists who want to travel are the main factors for increasing the number of tourists in Bali.

In providing good service to local and foreign tourists, local communities work with local governments and national companies to promote tourism villages that previously received less attention due to the pandemic.

As done by The Mandiri Utama Finance (MUF), MUF helps tourism village development, Bangli Regency, Bali through assistance from the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program.

The activity with the theme MUF Cares Cultural Villages was carried out by handing over a TJSL donation of Rp120 million to build and renovate three ticket booths for Penglipuran Tourism Village.

"Thus, it is hoped that the MUF Cares Cultural Village program can help the destination and all tourism business actors and the creative economy in it rise up, and are ready to enter a period of adaptation to new habits," Stanley said.

According to Stanley, as part of the company's responsibility to the community, in the future it will also regularly hold the MUF Cares program to create a harmonious relationship between the company and community.
